My Landlord is Cooler than Yours!

Who else has a landlord with a backyard bowl? Sure somebody does, but does that same landlord have a miniramp/wallride in his office? Doubtful. With a bowl, indoor ramp, and plans for a rooftop ramp with a tiki bar under his belt, its probably hard to find a cooler person to rent a house from! Heres to you Terry Kerr, you make Memphis a cooler place! This is some footage from last Monday nights session, filmed and edited by David Hammond, and featuring the Trife Street crew! Music by Flatt & Scruggs, Sex and Drugs... Suck It Haters!

Nashville's FU CRUE presents: One Up Wednesdays

This is a short clip of what our friends FU CRUE call One Up Wednesdays. Apparently they try and make videos of them "one upping" someone they know. Theres a whole bunch of them you can watch on youtube.com. Episode 18 features Trife Street so here you go. Also, if possible, check out the FU CRUE's videos, Smut, and Really Smut which features a bunch of Memphis boys.

Memphis Metal

This is, in my opinion the best music Memphis has to offer, other than Project Pat of course.... Evil Army is a local thrash metal band that plays with speed and fury. Every show they play offers a rad time. Unfortunatly for the time being, lead guitarist/singer Rob Evil is incarcerated in Memphis. His date of release is somewhere near 3 months from now. Right now Evil army consists of Michael Murder on drums, and Rob Evil on guitar and vocals. The band has no perminant bass player as Bones, the former bass guitarist, passed away recently. To hear Evil Army and watch videos, visit their myspace at EVIL ARMY

Memphis Needs A Skatepark

So, ive said it before, Memphis has no skatepark. Memphis has a rad scene with some killer skaters that would possibly just get better with a place to actually go and learn. Its been problem after problem in the struggle to get a skatepark. There is light at the end of this tunnel. Pepsi cola has offered up to 250,000$$$ in a refresh everything grant. Memphis currently ranks 15th among 1100 ideas. You Can Help! Go to this link http://www.refresheverything.com/skatelifememphis to vote on the idea for a skatepark. It may take you about 2 minutes of your time to give Memphis a park. Help us out, even if you don't live in Memphis. Your vote still counts. You can vote everyday through april so get on it. Thanks!

ALtOWN LIVES!!!

If by chance you keep up with Trifestreet.blogspot.com, you may think Altown has died. It hasn't. We are just revamping the blog. Anyway, I came across some photos of the new pour. We mananged to get help from some real dirty homies from Little Rock, Arkansas. These guys (Alan, Will, and Tyler) came down and got down. They practically poured and smoothed the new tranny out by themselves to make this pour the smoothest nicest pour to date. Altown is known for its bad trannies and crustiness but the new quarter is a different story. Memphis held down the grunt work (stacking rubble, mixing crete, and drinking beer.) Some of the other homies even brought a keg! So We built a new quarter pipe thats 5.5ft tall and 5ft wide. It is on a 6ft transition so it almost goes to vert. Thanks to all the guys, and girl, that came out to help us out! We couldn't have done it without the help of everyone. Big ups to Mike (gonz) Ettleman, and all the Little Rock, and Jonesboro homies for coming to help Memphis have a better skate scene. Do it yourself because aint nothin gunna just be handed to you!
